As it accepts connectors through both its front and back, this is a versatile option for use either as a hood or as a gender changer. It comes complete with fixing screws to make a reliable and vibration-proof connection.

Thermoplastic Adapter Housing
The special sub-D hoods can be used both as gender changers and as normal, very large sub-D hoods. The halves of the housing can be easily clicked together. They are supplied with strain relief and 4-40 UNC screws.
