The MPS International Ltd 8 bit to 12 bit low power angle sensor that detects the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet e.g. a diametrically magnetized cylinder on a rotating shaft. Power cycling optimizes the sensor for applications requiring low average power. The timing can be controlled via an integrated clock or external controller. Flags are available for detecting a definable amount of angle change.
