ABB Auxiliary Contact, Fused Switch Disconnector Type, 0.03kg Weight - OS Series - OA3G01
Want to keep close track of the operating status of your device? Put this auxiliary contact from ABB on guard. To keep your system running it smoothly, it monitors the state of a connected circuit and signals the control system when it senses a change. It's designed for use with fused switch disconnectors from the OS series, so is widely compatible. You can mount this unit in a jiffy by snapping it onto your switch disconnector.
Features & Benefits
• Light weight of 0.03kg for minimal strain on the disconnector
• Integrated test function for quick testing without closing the main contacts
• Compact external dimensions of 11 (H) x 40 (W) x 30mm (D) to fit in small spaces
• Rugged plastic housing resists impact
Applications
• Manufacturing industry
• Communications equipment
• Medical technology
• Lighting controls
How does a fused switch disconnector work?
A fused switch disconnector lets you cut off power to a specific part of your circuit so that you can safely access it for servicing or repairs. In the event of a short circuit or current overload, the fuse blows, shielding the rest of the circuit and the operator from the electrical hazard.
