Need a 3D printing material for food-safe applications? Choose this transparent polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PET-G) filament from RS PRO. It's non-toxic and has a high heat distortion temperature of +70ºC. This means it's safe to put in a dishwasher.

Thanks to superior thermal stability, this PET-G filament cools quickly without much shrinkage or warpage. It has a high chemical resistance and is hydrophobic, so it's used to make durable self-cleaning units like traffic lights, planter pots and plastic bottles. It's also has a smooth surface finish to ensure top-quality products.

This unit meets the European Commission (EC) Regulation No 1935/2004 standards for materials that come into contact with food. It doesn't produce odours while printing, so it doesn't pose a health risk during manufacturing. It's most commonly used in desktop Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) or Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology 3D printers.
