Harting Han D Series Heavy Duty Power Connector Contact, 10A Current, 0.37mm² Maximum Wire size - 9150006104

This heavy-duty power connector contact is a crimp-style male contact designed for use in robust power connector systems. Intended for industrial electrical and automation environments, it provides a Compact conductive Interface for connecting flexible conductors within heavy-duty connector housings. The contact is suitable where Compact current-carrying capability and secure crimp termination are required.

Features & Benefits

• Silver-plated copper alloy for improved conductivity and wear resistance
• Rated for 10A to support moderate current loads
• Crimp termination for secure mechanical and electrical connection
• Compatible with wire sizes 0.14–0.37 mm² for fine conductors
• Conforms to IEC 60664-1 for appropriate insulation coordination
• Male configuration for straightforward mating in power connectors

Applications

• Suitable for automation control-cabinet internal wiring
• Ideal for power distribution in industrial machinery
• Used with heavy-duty Han D connector assemblies during maintenance
• Can be used for electrical panel modular connector replacements
• Suitable for sensor and actuator power links in production lines

What material is used for the contact and why is it chosen?

The contact is manufactured from a copper alloy to provide a balance of electrical conductivity and mechanical strength suitable for repeated mating cycles.

How does the termination method affect installation reliability?

Crimp termination creates a gas-tight joint between conductor and contact when performed correctly, reducing contact resistance and minimising the risk of loosening under vibration.

What conductor sizes are supported and what conductor types are expected?

It accepts conductors from 0.14 mm² to 0.37 mm², typically fine-stranded flexible wires used in control and signal power circuits.

Which safety or insulation standard does it address?

It meets IEC 60664-1, addressing clearances and insulation coordination for use within appropriately rated connector systems.

Note

Han-Com® inserts have mixed power and signal formats. A typical identifier is ’4//2’ which means there are 4 power contacts and 2 signal contacts. The current rating is different for each type of contact within a particular insert.

Approvals

UL, CSA, SEV

Warning

These connectors should not be mated or unmated under electrical load. Connectors of the same or different types arranged in a line should be polarised to prevent the possibility of wrong connection.
