• Works with frequency, inrush, and min/max functions on select Fluke meters
• Large loop size and thin 7.5mm cross section allow measurement of awkward sized conductors with improved access in crowded spaces
• CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000 V safety rating
• Compatible with Fluke 374, 375, 376 & 381 clamp meters
What are the differences between safety categories?
For protection, safety categories are an important attribute which must be taken into consideration for any electronic test equipment. With any category (i.e CAT I, CAT II), a higher voltage will indicate a higher level of protection. As an example, a test probe providing CAT II 1000 V, provides a higher degree of protection than a CAT II 400 V probe.
