These RS PRO insulated crimp-spade terminals, also known as fork-wire terminals, are comprised of a small metal tube that you can use to terminate an open wire without soldering. This type of connector is commonly used to connect wires to a stud, bus bar or other elements of an electrical system.;For strength and durability, the units are made of brass and include a copper-sleeved barrel. They're insulated with a non-conductive and corrosion-resistant nylon material for enhanced safety and longevity. The insulator features a flared shape that makes it easy to insert wires.;These terminals conform to American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements, ensuring minimal risk of electrostatic discharge. They're also certified as meeting the British safety standard (BS7671) for domestic wiring.
