Need a field RJ45 connector for rugged applications? This RS PRO connector comes with durable plastic shielding for protection in harsh environments. With screw-type termination, the connector eliminates the need for special tools and makes securing cable connections quick and easy in the field.

The RS PRO RJ45 connector is ideal for cable-mount applications and can handle a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C. The connector comes with an IP67 rating, which means it can withstand dusty, dirty and sandy conditions as well as immersion in water up to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes, making it suitable for marine applications. The copper-alloy contacts are gold plated to ensure excellent resistance to corrosion and rust. Part of the RS PRO series, this product is stringently tested for quality.

Shielded RJ45 ethernet connectors are commonly used in outdoor LED and display lighting, as well as marine and military applications.
