Why do I need a working battery in my UPS?
Your UPS will use the backup battery to maintain power if your main supply is suddenly cut off. The battery's charge gives you time to safely shut down your system or it works as a buffer until your backup generator kicks in.
When do I need to replace my UPS battery?
You will need to replace your battery when your UPS clearly warns you with alarms and flashing panel lights.
