Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, 0.6 to 10 Bar Operating Pressure, G1/8 Port Connection - ADN-32-30-I-P-A

Need to power through sorting tasks? Get the job done efficiently with this Festo pneumatic cylinder. Thanks to its double-acting operation, the device extends and retracts using compressed air to make managing its movements a piece of cake. It delivers 30mm back-and-forth strokes, so you can achieve accurate position control. As this cylinder pushes and pulls with forces up to 483N at 6 bar pressure, it takes large loads in its stride.

Features & Benefits

• Standard M8 connections for wide compatibility and easy installation

• Slim body dimensions of 80 (L) x 47 (W) x 47mm (H) to take up minimal space

• Durable aluminium alloy housing is corrosion-resistant, holding its own in damp environments

• Built-in magnet works with a proximity sensor (such as 121-5832) for automatic position tracking

• Reliable performance with both clean and lubricated compressed air supplies

Applications

• Automated assembly lines

• Material handling

• Packaging facilities

Can I use this unit for fast-moving handling applications?

Yes, this cylinder's ends come with cushioning rings to dampen the force of its strokes, cutting back on the risk of disruptive vibrations when working at high speeds.

ADN ISO 21287 Pneumatic Cylinders- Flexible Cushioning

FESTO ADN series of compact pneumatic cylinder are up to 50% smaller than standard pneumatic cylinders for maximum productivity in confined spaces. These double acting pneumatic actuators have dual connection ports for compressed air to be applied for advancing and retracting the piston rod. The extensive range of stroke length and bore size variants in the ADN series can be configured to suit a broad range of applications.

Pneumatic Cylinder Operation

The ADN series is a double acting actuator with air applied to extend and to retract the piston in a linear motion to the desired stroke length. Magnetic piston rods allow contactless position detection via a proximity sensor mounted in slots along the cylinder body.

Cylinders are fitted with flexible polymer end cushioning helping to reduce noise and vibration, prolong service life and increase production and productivity.

Features and Benefits

Complies with ISO 21287 standard

Slots for flush mounting proximity sensors

Low friction design allowing for continuous operation

Cushioning requires no adjustment saving maintenance time and cost

How do I mount the pneumatic cylinder?

The ADN series pneumatic actuators can be mount horizontally or vertically to suit the required application. Optional mounting accessories provide further flexibility allowing the cylinder to be attached with a swivel bracket for free movement, foot mounted for support under high loads or combined with other actuators to give a wider range of movement.
