Revolution Pi Core - Powered by Raspberry Pi
Introducing RevPi Core, the latest in industrial computing from Kunbus. Using a Raspberry Pi Compute Module, the system is able to perform high-performance tasks and applications with ease and accuracy.
RevPi Core is an open platform, allowing you to install software of your choosing, including everything from operating systems to applications (as long as it is compatible with Raspberry Pi, it will run!). Default OS is Linux based.
The RevPi team are constantly looking to the clouds to help you realise your IIOT visions. Designs are in place for future capabilities of the devices, including connecting you to your devices anywhere in the world, so keep an eye out for this!
***This module is widely compatible with Raspberry Pi Model B+.

Features and benefits
CPU: BCM2835 @ 700 MHz with 500MB RAM (any IO signals are passed to the mainboard using a single 200 pin wide socket)
4 GB of eMMC Flash memory to handle a variety of tasks
OS: Raspbian / Debian Wheezy with RT-patch of kernel 4.1 (this stays close to the original Raspberry Pi whilst still retaining full control over task priorities used by the scheduler)
RTC 24h buffer using long life capacitors (the RevPi will always know the time, even in the case of a power failure as it has its RTC 24h buffer running as a backup. As soon as the RevPi is reconnected to the internet it will adjust and receive the correct time and RTC setting.
Driver / API centrally processes imagery cyclically, which is filled by the driver. Any 3rd party software you use has access to these processed images using simple Linux file system commands.
2 x USB 2.0 A (each driving 500mA) equipped at the front side of the module, useful for connecting to other 2.0 client devices. As they each drive 500mA, you can use USB drives / Surf Sticks directly to these connectors without the use of an external active USB hub
1 x Micro USB is useful for where you need to connect a USB hub, such as your laptop/PC with the RevPi Core which is located in the middle of the front plate. This type of connection auto starts the RevPi Core in USB client mode must like a regular USB stick would (useful if you need to flash the module for the first time using an image file from a PC)
1 x Micro HDMI supports SoC high-resolution graphics displays. The Micro-HDMI is located on the top side of the module and is useful for connecting to monitors, sound systems and more. If used with a USB mouse/keyboard you've essentially got a complete computer
1 x RJ45 Ethernet connector for connecting to LAN. Not limited to this, you can choose to use a WLAN dongle in one of the USB ports to turn your LAN into a Wi-Fi enabled computer system.
All of the above ports come with ESD protection to 4 kV / 8kV standard according to EN61131-2 & IEC 61000-6-2. They also feature surge/burst tests to the same rigid standards. EMI (electromagnetic interference) is also protected by the same standards.
Compatible with the 'PiCtory' tool which allows endless customisation within JSON files to configure the values of your hardware modules or installed drivers
DIN rail mountable (to EN 50022) & compact in size making it perfect to mount several where space restrictions may apply.
Polycarbonate housing material prescribed to standard EN 61131-3 (resistance to vibration/shock/damp air/high&low temperatures)
IP20 rated (effective sealing resistant to foreign bodies such as dirt/dust)
logi.CAD 3 (IEC 61131-3 compliant) editor for PLC as part of the RevPi Core software.
