RS PRO 20 mm SK15 Red 350 mm 5000 h Infrared (IR) Heat Lamp, 230 V, 1.5 kW


This infrared heat lamp from RS PRO is suitable for rapid drying and curing after you've applied a coat of paint or varnish, but can also function as a space heater indoors or outdoors, for example in cafés, restaurants and churches.

This economical lamp is made from a tube of doped quartz measuring 20 mm in diameter. 'Doping' means that it's been fused with cerium oxide to filter out all UV radiation. In addition, the red colour reduces glare to the eyes.

The heat lamp is extremely efficient and easy to run, giving almost instant heating the moment it's powered on. It's designed to work with universal mounting orientations. As part of the RS PRO range, this product has been thoroughly tested for durability and consistency. Note that you should not touch the lamp with your hands, as oils present in the skin can reduce the lamp's lifetime.
