RS PRO Protective Sleeve For Use With RJ45 Connectors
This RS PRO protective sleeve shields your ethernet cable assembly by fitting over the RJ45 connectors. The yellow colour makes it easy to colour-code your set-up for clear identification of wires.
The protective sleeve snaps onto the rear of the plug to relieve strain at the termination point of the cables. This keeps your cables in optimum condition, allowing you to connect them to patch panels or server racks without the risk of wear or breakage.
Thanks to its PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material, the sleeve is protected against dust, moisture and weathering for use in harsh environments. For added peace of mind, the sleeve comes with a three-year warranty.
Features and Benefits
Strain Relief Hoods
Plastic strain relief hoods for fitting to RJ45 data plugs (type 8//8). Hoods accept standard 4 pair UTP and STP cable and snap onto the rear of the plug preventing excess strain on the cable clamp. The hood extends over the plug latch allowing latch operation but also keeping the latch from snagging on other cables.
