Zero backlash Oldham coupling suitable for applications ranging from incremental control of fluid valves to dynamic drives in closed-loop servo systems.,Operating principle of the Oldham coupling:,    i.Lightweight disc aligns alternately with each hub during rotation.,    ii.Coupling transmits uni and bi-directional rotation through a floating torque disc that engages tenons in the hubs. As the coupler rotates, the disc aligns with each hub alternately to an extent demanded by the alignment error.,Torque discs (which are replaceable) will break cleanly under severe load, thereby acting as a mechanical fuse to protect personnel and equipment.
