RS PRO Edge Finder, 12 mm Shank Diameter
If you need a simple and reliable way to improve the accuracy and speed of your machining work, this edge finder is the ideal tool. It uses a probe to precisely locate edges, grooves or shoulders in a structure. An indicator lamp illuminates when it touches a surface or an object.
The edge finder is suitable for CNC (computer numerical control) machining, as well as for more conventional manufacturing equipment. It has a repeatability of 0.01 mm, ensuring accurate measurement. The probe works with any electrically conductive material and it runs reliably off a single 12 V battery.
This edge finder has been tested extensively to meet our strict RS PRO standards for reliability and safety. It's used regularly in automotive workshops and garages, and also comes in handy for metalworking applications in manufacturing and construction environments.
