The cut off disc features 3M Precision Shaped Grain which forms into triangularly shaped grains that are electrostatically positioned onto the backing. It allows the disc to last significantly longer than conventional grain abrasives while maintaining a high cut through rate.

It must be attached to a cut-off wheel tool (sold separately) and should always be used with a wheel guard for safety. The wheel also must have a maximum operating speed greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the power tool used.

These 3M cut off wheels are not recommended to be used on wood, only metals.
