Need to add some extra reach to a thermocouple cable? This Type K thermocouple extension cable from the RS PRO range is perfect for the job. It's insulated with highly durable perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA), shielded with a flexible stainless steel braided screen, then enclosed in a PFA sheath. These processes mean it offers excellent resistance to oils and acids.

The 5-m cable can operate up to +260˚C and down to -75˚C, with a maximum continuous operating temperature of +220°C. You'll also find its polarised contacts help ensure you make the correct connection.

Rest assured that this product is certified as safe, as it conforms to the IEC-584 standard for thermocouple cables. What's more, it's been stringently tested to ensure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) and complies with RoHS on levels of hazardous substances.
