The high-tech 440G-LZ switch has efficient microprocessor technology with an RFID coded actuator. It features a secure locking bolt drive mechanism that only locks when it detects the correct actuator. It holds the highest level of safety for door position and lock monitoring as it is TÜV certified to Ple, Cat. 4 (EN/ISO 13849-1). The 440G-LZ uses only 2.5W, making it a highly energy-efficient green solution. It also supports both hinged and sliding doors with four directions of approach.

The 440G-LZS21SPRH safety interlock switch is Power-to-Release, with 2 x PNP (0.2A max) safety contacts, 1 x PNP (0.2A max) auxiliary contact. It has an RFID standard (low level) actuator. Conduit entry is a 6-inch pigtail M12 8-pin Quick Disconnect, ensuring fast and easy wiring. Solenoid voltage is 24 V dc. This switch provides improved safety guard stability and security due to its high holding force of 1300N (292 lbs). The operating temperature range for this unit is 0 to +55 °C (+14 to +131 °F). This interlock switch also has monitored outputs and highly-visible LED diagnostics to help minimise downtime. The compact design ensures application flexibility and easy mounting, saving you time.

A solenoid interlock switch is a type of safety switch with an internal solenoid; a wire coil which converts electrical energy to mechanical. This type of mechanism limits access to dangerous areas where machinery may be functioning by ensuring that that barriers remain securely shut. The safety guard can only be opened through either energising (Power to Release) or de-energising (Power to Lock) the solenoid with an external signal. They are often used in industrial environments, for example with high inertia rotating machines.
