The Multi Contact black, safety socket is used with locking devices and for crimping onto highly flexible copper conductor with cross-sections of 10.5mm. This is suitable for mating with either 6mm safety flush-mounting plugs. When used together with a flush-mounting plug it acts as an appliance connector and with plugs as a coupler. The insulator body allows for a maximum cable cross-section of 10.5mm2, suitable for many applications that call for a 6mm diameter socket connector. It has a voltage rating of 600V and current rating of 80A. Note: Mates with 763-3036, 763-3130, 763-3168, 763-3196 and range and branch connector plug 763-3228.
