Use this 5/3 solenoid valve from Festo to control the airflow in your pneumatic system. Its plunger moves to an open position in response to an electrical signal and is reset using a spring mechanism, so you avoid the hassle of monitoring the fluid current manually. For greater functionality, the unit has three positions that let you shift the piston from one end of the assembly to another, as well as to a middle point. Thanks to its broad operating temperature range between -5°C and +60°C, this valve is durable and can withstand challenging environments.
