Fluke Non-Contact Voltage Detector, 1000V Maximum Detection Voltage, 200V Minimum Detection Voltage - FLK-1AC-E1-II-5PK

This non-contact voltage detector is a compact, battery-powered tester designed to detect AC voltage without touching bare conductors. It indicates the presence of an energised circuit by a red LED at the tip and an audible tone, making it suitable for Rapid checks of sockets, cords and Terminal strips in industrial and commercial environments.

Features & Benefits

• Detects 200V–1000V AC for common electrical distribution
• Rated CAT IV 1000V for high overvoltage protection
• Operates between -10°C and 50°C for varied jobsite climates
• Uses 2x AAA batteries for fast, on-site battery replacement
• High-intensity red LED provides clear Visual indication
• Continuous self-test with periodic flash confirms circuit integrity

**Applications**

• Suitable for electricians verifying live conductors on distribution boards
• Ideal for maintenance teams diagnosing factory-floor circuits
• Used for safety inspections of building socket wiring
• Can be used for troubleshooting control circuits in automation systems
• Suitable for quick checks by service engineers on-site installations

What frequency range will the detector respond to?

It senses AC fields in the nominal 45Hz–405Hz range, covering typical mains and many industrial supplies.

How does the unit indicate a low battery or fault condition?

The tester performs periodic self-checks and uses a double-flash Visual pattern to signal battery or circuit integrity issues.

Will it detect voltages below 200V?

This variant is designed to sense from 200V up to 1000V AC

lower-voltage control models exist for 20V–90V applications.

What environmental limits affect its operation?

Humidity limits vary with temperature: 0%–95% at 0°C–30°C, reducing to 0%–45% above 40°C

altitude operation is rated to 3000m.

What power source is supplied with the unit?

It is supplied with two alkaline AAA batteries to provide immediate field use.
