RS PRO Cylinder Honing Set 24 mm to 50 mm
Use this RS PRO honing set to improve and maintain the surfaces of cylinder heads for rebuilt engines. It's suitable for brake, clutch and bore engine cylinders in both motor vehicles and motorcycles.
Attach the tool to an air or electric drill to attain smooth and consistent motion during the honing process. The medium grit of the grinding stones lets you condition and remove residual materials from cylinder surfaces. This allows for improved lubrication and engine performance, increasing your cylinder's lifespan. You can adjust the length of the driveshaft with the adjustable tension spring for optimal control during use.
As this product is suitable for a range of bore sizes, it gives you accurate alignment for an even groove pattern in a number of differently sized cylinders. You can use this honing set in your garage or workshop when rebuilding engines or replacing piston rings.
