Allen Bradley IEC 700S-CF620EJC Safety Control Relay
Ensure safe and reliable switching with the IEC 700S-CF620EJC Safety Control Relay by Allen Bradley, part of the Bulletin 700S-CF series. This series enables you to design safe and efficient control circuits with the help of special features.
This contactor has mechanically linked, positively guided contacts, which are necessary for modern feedback circuits in safety applications. This feature ensures detection of a welded contact condition. The positively guided NC auxiliary contacts do not change their state if NO contact welds. To allow quick and easy identification of the safety device this contactor has a highly visible red covering. It also displays the IEC 60947-5-1 mechanically-linked symbol. The protective cover prevents manual operation and helps to guard against tampering, ensuring long-term integrity of the safety system.
The 700S-CF620EJC safety contactor has 8 Poles which are permanently attached. It has a base contact configuration of 3NO/1NC, and an electronic coil voltage of 24 V dc. The front auxiliary contact configuration is 3NO/1NC. The rated insulation voltage is 690V. It has a current rating of 25A.
Features and Benefits:
• Front mounted aux contact block which is permanently fixed
• Mechanically linked/positively guided contacts as per IEC 60947-5-1
• Protective cover to prevent manual operation and tampering, which is also red for easy identification and visibility
• It has SUVA Third-Party certification
• Mechanically linked contact symbol on front face

What is a contactor?
Much like relays, a contactor is an electromagnetic device which is designed to switch electrical current through its contacts. It can switch a larger amount of electrical power than normal relays and can therefore be used for more heavy-duty, larger-scale applications, such as switching several different circuits simultaneously. It can also be controlled remotely and can be used for logic controlling to serve different functions, such as turning on some things at the same time as turning off others. Contactors feature high coil voltages and are able to switch more than 15 amperes, and they also have more input and output options than relays. They are frequently used to control electric motors and lighting systems. They contain a coil or electromagnet which opens or closes the contacts when the electrical current passes through the contactor.
Why choose Rockwell?
Rockwell Automation is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, and brings smart manufacturing to life. With a long legacy of creating Allen-Bradley® integrated control and information solutions, we help make you as productive as possible. Our portfolio of sensing, safety and motor control products can support your move towards smart machine applications. Allen-Bradley® IO-Link sensors are data-enabled and communicate with all field buses, providing diagnostic and health information about the device before a machine stops, and enabling quick production changeovers through fast parameter downloads from PLCs into the device. This reduces machine downtime and increases manufacturing OEE. For safety components, products with built-in diagnostics simplify the set-up of the smart device, and reduce maintenance, leading to a more efficient, machine data-driven approach.
