SKF Bearing Locking Assembly, M125x2 Thread - KM 25
Looking to minimise disruption from moving parts in your bearing-based application? Use this locking assembly from SKF. It includes a lock nut to find the best fit for a bearing along your machine shaft to keep your equipment running efficiently. The assembly also comes with a washer that combines with the lock nut to secure your bearing against vibrations and movements, reducing the risk of wear from misalignment. Its M125x2 standard thread size makes it suitable for securing bearings on larger machinery.
• Supports axial loads of up to 360kN for smooth operation even under heavy strain
• Assembles with SKF's TMFN 23-30 hook spanner (124-8445) for quick and convenient installation
Applications
• Gates and doors
• Automotive manufacture
• Fans and ventilation systems
• Logistics industry
Why do I need to use a washer with this lock nut?
If you use a lock nut without a washer, the only force preventing your bearing from loosening and damaging your equipment is the friction of the lock nut itself. Adding a washer provides extra force to prevent gradual loosening.
