RS PRO Red Male Banana Connector, 4 mm Connector, Screw Termination, 50 V, Nickel Plating

Looking to make your own test leads, then RS PRO has the perfect addition in the 4 mm banana plug. This nickel plated plug is the ideal solution for making test leads to your specification. Upon inspection, the plug connector offers high-grade acetal plastic insulation with a centre contact made from nickel-plated brass and screw termination method. It accepts test lead cables with a 7.1 mm diameter with a conductor of 3.5 mm diameter.

The RS PRO 3 curved brass and nickel plated pins combined to produce a reliable 4mm plug with excellent contact resistance and good retention with the socket. Rated at 10 Amps, with a screw connection for the lead wire and a screw-on rigid Acetal moulding. Accepts up to 7.1mm diameter cable with a conductor of 3.5mm diameter. Available in a range of standard colours.

Terminating the plug connector is very straight forward, the centre contact has an aperture for the cable wire to be soldered. Once soldered assemble all the plug elements back together now your test lead is ready for use.
