Siemens SENTRON Type A RCCB, 2 Pole, 30mA Trip Sensitivity - 5SV3 Series - 5SV3311-6
Protect your electrical circuits with this Type A RCCB (residual current circuit breaker) from Siemens' SENTRON range. It continuously monitors the electric current flowing through circuits and trips the power supply should it detect discrepancies between the neutral and live feeds. This highly reliable 2-pole device has a trip sensitivity of 30mA (milliamperes), which means it will instantaneously trip the power when the current reaches between two to three times the rated value. You can install this unit in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
• DIN rail mounting capability allows for quick installation as the component simply snaps into place
• Instantaneous break time ensures the RCCB responds immediately to short circuits, ground faults or locked rotor currents
• IP20 (ingress protection) rating indicates the unit is shielded against touch to prevent electrical shocks

What causes a residual current circuit breaker to trip?
An RCCB will trip the power supply when there is a sudden spike in electrical current or in the event of an earth leakage. This can be due to faulty wiring or poor connections.
