The KEMET film capacitor is constructed of metallized polypropylene film encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin in a box of material that meets the requirements of UL 94 V–0. This capacitor is ideal for harsh environmental conditions and meets the demanding automotive electronics council's AEC–Q200 qualification requirements. It has low halogen content according to JS709C.
