How do I work out what size sleeve I need for a shaft?

When calculating the appropriate sleeve size it's first necessary to clean the shaft carefully. Then measure the diameter of an undamaged section of the seal counterface on at least three different planes. The average of these measurements is the size of Speedi Sleeve you need.
