RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 10 mm x 1 m
If you need a lightweight round metal bar that's able to bear heavy loads, turn to this aluminium rod from the RS PRO range. With excellent resistance to corrosion and the ability to withstand air, water and heat exposure, the 6082-T6 rod can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. It's often found in high-stress environments in the construction and manufacturing industries.
Tensile strength of 295 MPa means the rod can bear a substantial level of stress before warping or breaking. Made from the medium-strength 6082-T6 aluminium alloy, this metal bar can be found in bridges, cranes and trusses across many industrial environments. Just heat-treat the metal rod to mould it to your required shape.
