Adhesive backed supports are used to protect PCBs (printed circuit boards) from electrical transmission in commercial and consumer electronic applications. They ensure a secure hold of PCBs by locking them at secured heights when spacing PCB to chassis applications.
Adhesive backed supports are designed for quick and secure PCB mounting within project boxes or general purpose enclosures. The support is stuck to the inside of the enclosure with self-adhesive pads and the PCB (with correctly spaced holes drilled) is pushed onto the support, where it snaps securely into place. There's no drilling to the chassis required, leaving the outside in perfect condition.
Adhesive backed supports have simple locking and release mechanisms that make it easy to repair or upgrade the PCB if necessary.
