Winter AOV Giveaway: Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion period is valid from 13th June 2016 – 15th July 2016 (inclusive). Orders must be received by RS within this promotion period and include the specified promotion code.
2. Orders (exclusive of VAT and any delivery charges) must be equal to or over the threshold amount stipulated to qualify for the promotion.
3. To redeem the reward, the promotion code must be entered on your online order, or stated to the RS customer service personnel at the time of the order. Orders without promotional codes stated at the time of the order placement will not be eligible for this promotion. Orders that fall below the threshold for the stated reward at the time of order placement will not be eligible for this promotion.
4. Customers may enter more than once during the promotion period, however only one reward can be claimed per qualifying order. All rewards are offered on the basis that they are subject to availability. RS reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of a similar value in the event a featured reward is no longer available. Where a model has a colour variant, the colour will be picked by RS and is dependent on stock availability. There is no option to specify the colour of your reward.
5. The Nutribullet and Nespresso Machine come as standalone appliances and include no additional food items. The Gas Braai comes as a standalone unit and does not include a gas cylinder.
6. Warranty – if a product comes with a manufacturer warranty it is the onus of the recipient to register and/or keep any important documentation with regards to the item.
7. This promotion is not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part in respect of any offer.
8. This promotion is open to South African Account customers only and excludes employees and their immediate families of RS Components Ltd, its agents and anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
9. RS will attempt to despatch the reward within 60 working days of the end date of the campaign as external suppliers are used for this promotion. The rewards will be dispatched to the original delivery address via a 3rd Party agency appointed by RS Components. The customer needs to ensure the delivery address is correct when the order is placed in order to minimise a delay in delivery.
10. Any FREE Reward or Product, or participation must be in compliance with any Contractual Framework, where applicable. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or special offers currently in place; this includes ad hoc discounts and rebates.
11. RS deals only with the account customer and not with individual employees of the account customer. It is the responsibility of the individual employee to gain permission from his/her employer before participating in this promotion.
12. This promotion is not open to any government employee or public official, nor is it open to the employees of any customer of RS which has elected to exclude itself and its employees from such promotions.
13. Promotion codes cannot be used when purchasing Thermal Imagers, Raspberry Pi products, Red Pitaya products, Tektronix and Agilent products, Test & Measurement products and 3D printers (3D Brands include ReprapPro, Ultimaker, 3D Systems). 3D printer exclusion extends to Scanners, Software and Filaments from RS, Verbatim and 3D Systems.
14. Scheduled orders placed before the promotion period for delivery during the promotion period will not be eligible for this promotion.
15. Excludes forward and scheduled orders. Orders placed with promotion codes cannot be amended, cancelled, exchanged or withdrawn, unless this is due to circumstances which RS is responsible for.
16. RS will refuse to validate and redeem any claim not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
17. RS reserves the right to refuse participation.
18. RS reserves the right to change or withdraw the promotion and to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Export customers:
1. Export customers must collect the gift from RS Trade counter in Midrand. No gifts will be dispatched to the customer.
2. It is the responsibility of export customers to ensure that relevant promotion codes are provided at the time of placing the order whether by phone or in writing.
